Worcester Bosch gas boilers topped the Which? best buy report for the eighth year running in December. The company had the highest overall score of all gas boiler brands and also received five stars from traders who were asked which boilers they would recommend to customers. A total of 9,610 boiler owners and 219 Which? central heating traders were surveyed for this report and one trader commented that “Worcester Bosch continues to be the benchmark against which other boiler brands should be judged”. Eight out of ten Worcester Bosch customers confirmed they would definitely recommend the brand to friends and family.
Buying a new gas boiler can be an expensive purchase, so it’s wise to research the different types and makes available in order to achieve the best deal. There are three types of gas boiler on the market: combi boilers, which provide heat and hot water on demand; heat only boilers, which have a hot water tank and a cold water feed tank in the loft or attic; and system boilers, which don’t require cold water feed tanks.
Making the decision on which type of boiler to go for may often be the case of maintaining the existing status quo, to avoid added costs. It’s important to choose a gas boiler which is the right size for your property and has the correct capability for your home, so it is a good idea to seek professional advice prior to purchase. It’s also important to research the reliability of any proposed new boiler. You can find details of all the popular gas boiler brands on Which? Alternatively, discuss your requirements with a professional plumbing and heating engineer.

I would just like everyone to know that Shaw's Plumbing And Heating helped us out over the phone when our insurance company could'nt get an engineer out until the morning. I phoned the freephone number and asked for some advise on what I could do to either stop or slow down the leak on my toilet until the insurance company can come out to carry out the repair, they were very helpfull and talked me through the procedure and I manage to stop the leak, I am now thinking of cancelling my insurance plan and using SPH if I need to. Thanks for all your help SPH.
